Ginsbury sign Kingtech for small and medium size TFTs

Support for compact TFT displays, touchscreen and driver card solutions

Rochester, UK, 9th December 2014. Display specialist Ginsbury have announced a new distribution agreement with LCD manufacturer Kingtech.  Based in Shenzhen, China, Kingtech specialise in the design and supply of small to medium size TFT LCD displays from 1.44-inch up to 10.2-inch. Ginsbury will promote and market the Kingtech range of TFT displays, touchscreen and driver card solutions in the UK and Ireland.

With more than 11 years' experience in the development and manufacture of compact colour TFT display modules, Kingtech have become an established supplier of small to medium size TFT LCDs. Kingtech can also provide integrated 'off the shelf' or custom display solutions to include TFT display modules, capacitive or resistive touch panels, display driver boards and interconnect.

Kingtech supports LCD design, production and quality assurance in a dedicated 3000m² facility in Shenzhen City, Guangdong province, China. A production capacity of up to 600K displays per month is supported. The R&D department employs 20 full-time design and development engineers in a permanent staff of over 200 employees. Kingtech manage close relationships with regional and local component suppliers to ensure responsiveness, product availability and lead-times can be maintained.

Ginsbury can provide display samples and evaluation kits for Kingtech's range of TFT displays to enable full product appraisal. Kingtech TFT displays are ideally suited for use in handheld, portable and battery powered equipment. All Kingtech displays and support products are RoHS compliant.
