Ginsbury announces Digital View Dual DVI Interface Board for industrial LCD monitors

Supports LVDS LCD panels up to 1920 x 1200 pixels

Display specialist distributor Ginsbury has announced the introduction of the Digital View DD-1920-Dual-DVI interface controller. Designed and developed for  industrial LCD monitor applications and high reliability display systems, the new DD-1920-Dual-DVI controller supports LVDS LCD panels up to 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The Digital View DD-1920-Dual-DVI board provides two DVI inputs with OSD or RS-232 serial selection control to drive LVDS LCD panels up to 1920 x 1200 resolution. The board has compact mechanical dimensions measuring 107.4mm (w) x 73.6mm (h) x 1.2mm (d) and features two DVI-D connectors and a 12V DC power input header.

Steve Varley, Product Manager, Ginsbury explained, "The latest addition to the Digital View product range is intended for industrial and commercial display applications where the advanced image control functions of models such as the Digital View SVX-1920 type controllers are not required."

The DD-1920-Dual-DVI controller board also provides for two build options: LED drivers for LED backlit LCD panels and an audio amplifier with volume control via OSD or RS-232 serial commands.

DD-1920-Dual-DVI key features:

• Input: two DVI inputs supporting 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p
• Colours: up to 3 x 8-bit providing up to 16.7million colours
• Image Control (via OSD and RS232): brightness, contrast, sharpness, clock, phase, colour temperature, image position, gamma
• Image scaling: up/down scaling to fit input to LCD panel format.

As with all standard Digital View LCD controller boards the DD-1920-Dual-DVI comes with multi-panel support and the availability of custom engineering services. The DD-1920-Dual-DVI is now available immediately from Ginsbury.
