Klein Instruments was founded in 1983 by Tektronix engineers who saw a way to make a better product for a lower price. Taking what they had learned, they began production by selling the Convergence Gauge out of a garage in Portland Oregon. Eventually Klein moved out of the garage and developed newer products that rivaled, and surpassed, those already in the competitive market of display testing equipment. Today Klein Instruments is known for its reliability and high quality line of products including a range of Colorimeters and Convergence Gauges.
