Ginsbury have launched a new high bright backlight for the Toshiba 10.4" XGA panel LTM10C306L. The backlight, which is manufactured by Landmark Technology, San Jose, California increases panel brightness to 1700 nits. The significantly increased brightness and compact form make this module a prime choice for use in outdoor applications such as information kiosks, advertising, transport information signs and marine use.

Power consumption is only 19W which assists in reducing thermal management issues when used in an enclosure. The display can be supplied complete with a compatible inverter to drive the backlight and analogue controller card to produce a monitor kit.
