Ginsbury Electronics has just launched a new 15.1" TFT monitor kit from Landmark Technology.

The LMK117A-X1 is an all-in-one sunlight readable LCD module kit that consists of a Landmark LM117C-150X03 LCD module with a controller and the inverter mounted

directly behind the VHB backlight. The kit also includes a 60 Watt power supply that provides all the power required to operate the display. The LMK117A-X1 module delivers LCD screen

brightness of 1,800 Cd/m2 (nits). At this level, the display is highly readable under direct sunlight. Using the Brightness control on the OSD, the screen brightness can be adjusted smoothly down to 100 Cd/m2.

The construction of the monitor kit makes it ideal for installing into kiosks without the need for custom chassis metalwork. The unit can be mounted directly behind your front panel using the LCD panel mounting holes. The inclusion of a 12VDC power pack also means that you don’t need to provide extra current from your system power supply you can simply plug in and go.
